Built Properly the First Time — or Put Right Afterwards
Most office network problems come from one of two places: an installation that was never finished properly, or changes made over the years that nobody wrote down. A switch added under a desk, a second router plugged in to extend Wi-Fi, a cable run past its length limit — each works for a while, then shows up as slow file access or dropped calls.
VOWTECH handles both ends of that story. For new offices and fit-outs we install the full stack, from structured cabling and the rack through to switches, the router, the firewall and wireless access points. For existing networks we diagnose the fault methodically, fix the cause instead of the symptom, and record what was changed.
The work is carried out by the same Abu Dhabi-based team that provides our on-site IT support, so the engineer who fixes your network also understands the servers, printers, phones and cloud services that depend on it. Where a fault keeps returning, we will tell you plainly whether the answer is a repair, a reconfiguration or a network redesign.
Three Situations We Are Called Into
Installation and troubleshooting are different jobs with different starting points. Most enquiries fall into one of these three.
New Office or Fit-Out
An empty floor needs to become a working network before staff move in. We coordinate with the fit-out contractor and the internet provider so that the rack, cabling, switching and Wi-Fi are ready on the same day as the desks.
A Fault Nobody Can Pin Down
Intermittent drops, slow shared drives, calls breaking up, one department offline every afternoon. We test layer by layer — cable, port, switch, addressing, routing, internet link — until the cause is proven, not assumed.
An Ageing Network That Needs a Tidy-Up
The network works, but nobody knows how. Unmanaged switches are daisy-chained, the rack is a tangle and nothing is labelled. We rationalise the equipment, replace what is failing and leave a network someone can actually manage.

Switch & Rack Installation
Network switches are mounted, powered and uplinked correctly, with patch leads dressed and ports labelled so that any outlet in the office can be traced back to its switch port.
Router & Internet Link Setup
We configure the router against your internet provider handoff, set up addressing and DHCP, and confirm the link performs as expected before users are connected.
Firewall & VLAN Configuration
Staff, guests, phones, CCTV and servers are separated into their own network segments, with firewall rules that allow only the traffic each segment genuinely needs.
Wi-Fi Installation
Access points are positioned for coverage and capacity, cabled back to the switch and configured with separate staff and guest networks.
Fault Tracing & Cable Testing
Suspect links are tested end to end, switch logs and port counters are reviewed, and traffic is captured where needed to find what is really causing the problem.
Documentation & Labelling
Every job ends with an updated network diagram, an IP address list, device logins handed to the right person and labels on cables, ports and equipment.

Devices are installed and configured, or the identified fault is corrected at its source.
Testing
Links, Wi-Fi, internet access and key applications are tested from real user positions.
Handover
You receive the diagram, address list and a plain summary of what was done and why.
