Business Router Solutions
The router is the single device every internet-bound packet in your office passes through. VOWTECH supplies, installs and configures business routers for companies in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and across the UAE, covering internet link setup, failover between providers, VPN links to branches and sensible traffic priorities.
More Than the Box the Internet Provider Left Behind
Many offices still run on the basic router supplied with the internet connection. It is designed for a household: a handful of devices, no separation between networks, limited logging and no real way to prioritise a video call over a software update. As headcount grows, it becomes the bottleneck nobody suspects.
A business router is built for more concurrent connections and gives an administrator proper control: several internet links with automatic failover, VLAN-aware routing, VPN tunnels to branches and remote staff, quality-of-service rules and useful logs. In many networks this role is combined with security in a firewall system.
VOWTECH helps you choose a router that matches your link speed, user count and VPN needs, then installs and configures it as part of the wider network. If you are unsure whether the router is actually the problem, our network troubleshooting service can confirm that first.
Routers for Different Jobs
The right router depends on what sits behind it. These are the three categories we supply and configure most often.
Business Routers
Wired routers for offices that already have separate switches and access points. They concentrate on routing performance, multiple internet links and stable operation with many simultaneous users.
VPN Routers
Routers with hardware-assisted encryption for companies that link branches or support remote workers. They keep permanent encrypted tunnels running between sites without slowing everyday traffic.
Wi-Fi Routers
Combined router and wireless units for small offices, shops, clinics and site cabins where one device is enough. For larger floors, routing and wireless are better handled separately.
Supply, Setup and Ongoing Care
A router is only as good as its configuration. This is what we do beyond delivering the box.
Selection & Supply
We match the router to your internet speed, number of users, VPN requirements and growth plans, and supply it through our IT products service.
Internet Link Configuration
The router is configured against your provider handoff, whether fibre, leased line or a mobile data backup, with static addresses and DNS set up correctly.
Dual-WAN & Failover
Two internet connections are configured so that traffic moves to the second link automatically if the first fails, and optionally shares load between them.
VPN Setup
Encrypted tunnels link head office and branches, and remote staff are given individual VPN access to the systems they need.
Quality of Service
Voice and video calls, payment terminals and business applications are given priority over downloads and updates when the link is busy.
Firmware & Configuration Backups
Firmware is kept current, default passwords and unused services are removed, and the configuration is backed up so a failed unit can be replaced quickly.
Replacing a Router Without the Drama
The router carries everything, so the changeover is prepared in advance and kept short.
Review
We look at your internet links, user numbers, current router and any symptoms.
Recommendation
You receive a clear recommendation with the reasoning, not just a model number.
Pre-Configuration
The new router is configured and tested before it arrives on site.
Changeover
The old router is swapped out at an agreed time and services are checked one by one.
Documentation
Settings, credentials and a configuration backup are handed to the right person.
Signs Your Router Is Holding the Office Back
Router problems rarely announce themselves. They usually look like "the internet is slow again".
Slows Down at Busy Times
The link is fine in the early morning and crawls mid-morning, a sign the router cannot handle the number of connections.
Needs Regular Restarts
If someone reboots the router every few days to restore the internet, it is undersized or failing.
One Link, No Backup
A single internet connection with no failover means every provider outage stops work.
Default Settings Still in Place
Factory passwords, remote management left open and old firmware are common on unmanaged routers.
